Design has always been a passion of mine since I can remember. In studying Architecture it has allowed me to further my skills in developing an idea from the micro to the macro stages. I previously gained my Part I Bachelors of Architecture at the University of Bath and am now studying my Part II at the University of Manchester, where I will be graduating with a Masters in June 2013. Both Universities have given me the opportunity to progress in the pragmatic and conceptual sides of architecture, challenging me to create unique designs.

I have worked in industry for both a traditional architect and an engineer. These experiences helped further my technical abilities as well as bring out my personality in my designs via visuals and model making. Idea generation is forte of mine and is something I have undertaken whilst being a designer at Pieboy Clothing (www.pieboyclothing.co.uk).

During my Masters degree I have taken a huge interest into sustainable design and have generated innovative ideas using my immediate surroundings. The architecture I have designed creates an ecological system that doesn’t involve reinventing the wheel, but thinks globally and acts locally. On finishing my degree I am looking to take on exciting and challenging design opportunities, either freelance or as part of a company. I am very interested in working with those that have as much passion as myself about the built environment that surrounds us.
